President: Chan Teck Yang, Gabriel (Class of 2014)
Gabriel Chan graduated from the double degree programme in NTU in 2014 and has been practicing TCM in various TCM clinics. He started off working at Kin Teck Tong TCM clinic, where he gained experience seeing a wide array of sports related ailments. He also had the privilege of treating various Singapore Athletes and helping them with their pain and ailments. Gabriel then moved on to Healthsciences International where he focussed on internal medicine and geriatric medicine.
In 2017, Gabriel took a leap of faith and started Oak Health Chinese Medicine clinic. Since then, he has been seeing patients from all walks of life with conditions ranging from internal medicine to pain management and chronic disease management. Gabriel believes in creating more awareness to the general public on the extent that TCM can help with oneʼs health by giving various health talks to organisations and local companies.
Gabriel avidly believes that TCM has a huge potential in being an integrative medicine that is widely accepted by all and constantly seeks new ways to bring about a change in the TCM scene in Singapore.

Vice President: Lee Mun Kit, Sean (Class of 2012)
Sean Lee has been actively practising Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 2012, following his graduation from the Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Double Degree Programme in Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Sean started his career as a Chinese Medicine Physician at the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic, where besides clinical work, he is also involved in the academic aspects of the Double Degree Undergraduate Programme, as well as the mentoring of graduates to prepare them for their licensing examinations.
Sean is currently practising TCM in Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital where he has experience in treating a wide spectrum of conditions in the fields of internal medicine, paediatrics, fertility and pain management. He is also appointed as a co-investigator in a research collaboration between Changi General Hospital and the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore (ACMS).
He has understudied prominent physicians (both local and overseas) and continues to do so in his free time to develop new perspectives and treatment plans for his patients. Besides helping young and old patients with sub-health conditions, Sean is also well-experienced with treating patients with stroke sequelae, dementia and pains.
Being a new generation of bilingual physicians and a Double Degree graduate, he possesses knowledge in both TCM and modern medical sciences to be able to attend to patients of all ages and understand medical conditions from both TCM and western perspectives.

Vice President: Wan Ngan Ching, Sue (Class of 2013)
Sue graduated in 2013 and is currently the founder and physician of Herb & Heal, a house call-based TCM provider that also curates herbal wellness teas as a means to connect with the public about Chinese Medicine. She is also currently a locum TCM physician with Parkway Shenton and Thomson TCM.
She started off her career as the Assistant Manager at Renhai Clinic, providing TCM treatment as well as managing a herbal cafe which provided her with precious F&B insights. Thereafter she worked as an Executive at Changi General Hospital handling a large front line team of 60 associates which gave her confidence to start Herb & Heal.
Sue believes in seeing a wide range of patients and does not restrict herself to treating only certain conditions. That being said, her interests include acupuncture, preventive medicine, pain management, post-stroke rehabilitation, gynaecology and paediatrics. Sue is actively seeking new ways and avenues to promote TCM and integrate its concepts and products into the modern lifestyle.
In her free time, Sue is an avid music lover and enjoys being active. She sees the importance of these two aspects in promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Secretary: Seet Ing Hian, Niklas (Class of 2016)
Graduating in 2016, Niklas is from the 7th batch of the NTU-BUCM Chinese Medicine programme. He is currently a practising TCM physician with Zhongjing TCM, and is also a lecturer at the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SCTCM). Not only has he been consulting with patients, he has also taken time to give back to the community, providing lessons and free talks to the public.
As a long-time practitioner of the Japanese martial art Judo, Niklas has a strong interest in sports injuries, pain management, and tuina manipulation. Building on his years of professional and personal experiences in sports injuries, he strives to do his best to help and educate people on how to manage the pain effectively, in order to return to the sport they enjoy as quickly as possible.

Treasurer: Ng Ying Shi (Class of 2014)
Ying Shi graduated from the Double Degree programme in Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences by Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2014. She then started her career by joining NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic as a physician to involve herself with clinical practice, provide educational talks to public as well as to mentor juniors of the degree programme.
To better understand the healthcare system in Singapore, Ying Shi is now employed in a public hospital and volunteers her TCM service during her free time. She believes that there is much to learn from both Western and Chinese Medicine and hopes her growing knowledge can help to integrate the two.

Alumni Wing Chief: Lee Chia Khee (Class of 2016)
Chia Khee graduated in 2016 and started off her career with the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic. Her clinical interest is in gastrointestinal related conditions and gynaecological problems. Besides seeing patients, she is also involved in the management of the clinic and the administration of the double degree program in NTU. She has also conducted numerous TCM talks to corporate clients, students and the public to promote healthy lifestyle and the benefits of TCM to our health.
Since graduation, she has also been volunteering with The Public Free Clinic to bring care to the less privileged community and as well as to gain more clinical experiences.

Outreach Wing Chief, 2020-21: Koh Hwan Ling (Class of 2020)
Hwan Ling is a registered TCM Practitioner in Singapore. She graduated with a Double Degree with an Honours in B.Sc. in Biomedical Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She is currently practicing full-time and is the Assistant Manager, CRM, of Bao Zhong Tang TCM Center. Her practice at Bao Zhong Tang also extends to COMO Shambhala Urban Escape Singapore. She also volunteers at Kang Ming Free Clinic and is a member of the Society of Chinese Medical Research.
She is a believer of holistic health management and holding responsibility in one’s own health. She hopes to help more people benefit from the use of TCM and regain control of their health.
During her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking. She is also an avid sportswoman and often spend her off days in the outdoors, trekking, hiking and kayaking.

Youth Wing Chief: Yen Sheng Xiang (Class of 2016)
Sheng Xiang is a physician from Nanyang Zhongjing TCM Institution Affiliated Clinic. He is also the Marketing Executive of TCM Homecare Services. Despite the hectic schedule of his work at both organizations, Sheng Xiang finds time to volunteer weekly at Chung Hwa Medical Institution as Volunteer Physician.
Sheng Xiang is deeply passionate about the promotion of TCM in Singapore. He strongly advocates multiple-prong approach which includes progressive efforts in research, constructive dialogue with western medical counterparts, and public education.

Publication and Publicity: Tan Quan Ming (Class of 2014)
Quan Ming is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board, Ministry of Health, Singapore, and a Resident Physician at the Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution, where he is a member of the oncology clinic. He holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine from the Nanyang Technological University and a MMed (TCM) from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where he trained at Dongfang Hospital and Dongzhimen Hospital. He is also a collaborator in the HERBAL Trial (HEalth-Related quality of life-intervention in Breast Cancer Survivors experiencing cancer-related fatigue using TraditionAL Chinese Medicine) as part of the 3rd Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Grant call.

Tan Kok Hsien (Class of 2013)
Kok Hsien graduated in 2013 and started off his career with the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic. His clinical interest is in spinal-related conditions, injuries and pain management, and gastrointestinal related conditions. Other than his personal clinical sessions, he continued to hone his TCM skills and was privileged to be under the tutelage of locally renowned TCM physicians in the clinic.
Kok Hsien was also heavily involved in the management of the clinic and the administration of the Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine double-degree program in NTU. He has also conducted numerous TCM introductory programs and talks to corporate clients and the public.
Seeking to better understand the TCM policies and landscape in Singapore, Kok Hsien is now with the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Branch, Ministry of Health. Since graduation, Kok Hsien has also been volunteering with The Public Free Clinic to bring care to the less-privileged community. He continues to maintain clinical practice on selected time slots.
Kok Hsien believes in the value of TCM and that it has a special role to play in complementing western medicine practices. TCM can also offer valuable insights on health cultivation and illness prevention. He advocates for more clinical studies and research on TCM, and interaction between doctors and TCM physicians to harness the best of practices to achieve greater health.

Goh Xin Yi (Class of 2011)
Xin Yi graduated with a Double Degree B.Sc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences & B. Medicine (Chinese Medicine) in 2011. Physician Goh is currently working in NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic. She is also a member of the gynaecology specialization committee in the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore. Her clinical interest is in gynaecology, paediatrics and preventive health.
As the first batch of scholarship recipient from the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore, she is taking her Master of Public Health in NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. She believes that TCM’s principles and approaches to disease prevention and management have the potential to play an important role in meeting the healthcare challenges of Singapore’s ageing society. She hopes to add value to the research development of TCM in Singapore with the knowledge learnt from her Masters.

Outreach Wing Chief, 2019-2020: Teoh Shwen Lei, Beverly (Class of 2012)
Beverly graduated in 2012 with a double degree in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine, conferred by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). In recognition of academic achievement, she was awarded the Nanyang Scholarship by NTU and Foreign Students Scholarship by BUCM throughout her course of studies. During her early career, she worked at NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic, National University of Singapore and National University Hospital, where she developed a breadth of experience in project management, academic administration and public speaking.
Having a deep interest in acupuncture and paediatrics massage, she is currently practising as a physician in Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. Apart from professional work, she dedicates her free time to volunteer at Public Free Clinic. She is also a member of the Academy of Chinese Medicine, Singapore.
