President: Soh Shan Bin
Ms Soh Shan Bin is a pioneer graduate from the double degree in Biomedical Sciences (Nanyang Technological University) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Beijing University of Chinese Medicine).
She furthered her studies in Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtained Masters degree in TCM Internal Medicine. She is well trained in multiple aspects of Chinese Medicine and she has particular interest in cardiovascular diseases.
She is currently practising at Renhai Clinic and has taught well received TCM courses at the Renhai Clinic and the Confucius Institute. She has also given talks at various organisations such as WINGS, NTU and RSVP.
She believes that Chinese Medicine with its holistic approach can play a greater role in the healthcare of the modern society. She was in the organising committee for the Conference on the Modernisation of Chinese Medicine held on 2016 which was graced by the Health Minister Mr Gan Kim Yong as guest of honour and Director-General Dr Margaret Chan as the keynote speaker.
Vice President: Ho Chin Ee
Ho Chin Ee graduated with a Double Degree B.Sc. (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences & B.Medicine (Chinese Medicine) in 2010 as part of the inaugural batch pursuing the double degree programme jointly offered by Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). She became a registered TCM physician in the same year.
After gaining three years of clinical experience, her passion for continuous learning drove her to further her studies full time in 2013. She was awarded a full government scholarship from the China Scholarship Council for her postgraduate studies.
She is currently practicing in Raffles Chinese Medicine, providing acupuncture, cupping, herbal prescription, pediatric acupressure services for patients. Her clinical interests include women’s health, subhealth, internal medicine and pain management. She is also a member of Academy of Chinese Medicine, Singapore.
Vice President: Tan Kok Hsien
Kok Hsien graduated in 2013 and started off his career with the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic. His clinical interest is in spinal-related conditions, injuries and pain management, and gastrointestinal related conditions. Other than his personal clinical sessions, he continued to hone his TCM skills and was privileged to be under the tutelage of locally renowned TCM physicians in the clinic.
Kok Hsien was also heavily involved in the management of the clinic and the administration of the Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine double-degree program in NTU. He has also conducted numerous TCM introductory programs and talks to corporate clients and the public.
Seeking to better understand the TCM policies and landscape in Singapore, Kok Hsien is now with the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Branch, Ministry of Health. Since graduation, Kok Hsien has also been volunteering with The Public Free Clinic to bring care to the less-privileged community. He continues to maintain clinical practice on selected time slots.
Kok Hsien believes in the value of TCM and that it has a special role to play in complementing western medicine practices. TCM can also offer valuable insights on health cultivation and illness prevention. He advocates for more clinical studies and research on TCM, and interaction between doctors and TCM physicians to harness the best of practices to achieve greater health.
General Secretary: Jeraldine Seah
Jeraldine Seah graduated from the Double Degree programme in Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences by Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2010. She was registered as a TCM physician in the same year. The first cohort graduate was also awarded the Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship in 2010. Practicing as an acupuncturist in Singapore General Hospital, she works closely with the Western Medical specialists to co-manage patients and involves herself in clinical research. Her clinical interests lie in the use of acupuncture for pain management and in the treatment of digestive disorders, neurological conditions and gynaecological problems.
Alumni Wing Chief: Wong Seok Peng
Seok Peng is a Resident Physician at Chung Hwa Medical Institution. Besides internal medicine and acupuncture, she is also doing TCM pediatric massage. Her patients can range from seven month old baby to ninety year old elderly. Seok Peng enjoys the daily interaction with her patients. Her interest lies in gynaecology, acupuncture and pediatric massage.
Seok Peng also serves in the current Chinese Medicine Alumni Association as the Alumni Wing Chief, organizing networking sessions and conferences to strengthen the bonds of the member pool.
Hobbies: Swimming, badminton
Youth Wing Chief: Eric Tay
Eric Tay is a physician from Chung Hwa Medical Institution, serving as branch supervisor. Besides patient consultation, his job comprises of overseeing clinic operations including medical inventories . Despite the challenging nature of his job scope, Eric enjoys how it regularly pushes him to pick up new skills and constantly reevaluate his approach to everyday problems. The blend between operational and medical nature of his job scope ensures that there is never a dull day at work!
His interest lies in acupuncture and the combined use of acupuncture and medicine to treat a variety of pain disorders. Additionally, Eric has used his love for writing to produce several articles for the purpose of promoting public education about TCM and healthcare in general!

Outreach Wing Chief: Victoria Tan
Victoria Tan was a scholarship recipient of both Ngee Ann Kongsi Tertiary Scholarship and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Foreign Students Scholarship. She was also the Valedictorian of her graduation batch of 2016.
She has co-authored with A*STAR and is a co-investigator in research projects with government hospitals such as Changi General Hospital. A current Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Instructor with the People’s Association, she contributes articles for LianHe WanBao and conducts TCM workshops in her free time.

Publicity & Publication Wing Chief: Chan Yu Chun Alexia
Chua Yu Chun Alexia graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) with a Double Degree in Biomedical Science (Hons) and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010 as part of the inaugural batch. She obtained her practising certificate in the same year, working as a TCM Practitioner before joining Tan Tock Seng Hospital as an Acupuncturist.
Alexia is an advocate of preventive healthcare, working on lifestyle and dietary changes with her patients in the management of their symptoms. With her experience as a TCM Practitioner and Acupuncturist, she has spoken on a variety of TCM topics including women’s health, stroke management, skin disorders, pain management and many others to the general public.
When she is not working, Alexia is busy with website designing and maintaining the backend of this website.
Committee Member: Chua Hui Zi
Graduated from the second batch of NTU Double Degree in Biomedical Sciences and TCM, Chua Hui Zi went on to further her studies in Tianjin University of TCM sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and graduated with a Masters in TCM (Internal Medicine).
Currently a qualified TCM Physician in Singapore, her passion in TCM continues to grow over the past 6 years in private and hospital practice as well as clinical attachments. As a member of NTU CMAA Executive Committee, she is also active in advocating and promoting TCM outside of Singapore, proposing to engage TCM alumni to do overseas volunteering in providing their healthcare expertise to the underprivileged.
Chua Hui Zi is also an executive member of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) Council in Diabetes. She is also active in the grassroots, serving the community during her free time as a Treasurer for her Residents’ Committee.
Committee Member: Lee Hui Min
Graduated in 2012, Physician Lee Hui Min is currently a resident physician in the Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institute. She is also a Sub-Committee Member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board Examination Committee and also the secretary of the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore Youth Wing. As a physician, her interest is in gynecological and traumatological conditions.
Hui Min is also the 3rd President of NTU Chinese Medicine Alumni Association.
