President: Ho Chin Ee
Chin Ee graduated from the inaugural batch of the Double Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010. She started practicing as a full time physician in Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution, before returning to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to pursue her postgraduate degree fully sponsored by the Chinese Scholarship Council, where she studied and worked alongside several renowned senior Physicians.
Upon returning, she joined Raffles Chinese Medicine, and is now practicing at Thomson Chinese Medicine. A strong believer in TCM as a holistic medicine that works synergistically with mainstream medicine, Chin Ee deals with a myriad of conditions clinically, including conditions of the respiratory and digestive systems, pain management, neurological issues, and women’s and children’s health. Having said that, the mother of an active toddler has a special interest in fertility and children’s health, as she empathizes with the stress of modern ladies’ face in their journeys to motherhood, and as a mother, that “a healthy child makes a happy mum”.
Outside of clinical work, Chin Ee is also actively involved in research, advancing TCM and regulatory work of TCM.
Vice President: Leong Weizhen
Leong Weizhen graduated from the pioneer batch of NTU Biomedical Science/Traditional Chinese Medicine double degree programme and received her MSc (TCM) with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) under Chinese Government Scholarship in 2013. She is currently the Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at Oriental Remedies Group, a TCM group with different subsidiaries in our healthcare sector.
Weizhen aims to marry TCM with state-of-the-art Technology-Enhanced Therapies. She is currently a certified trainer on Electro-Lymphatic Therapy (ELT) with Lymphology Association of Asia with students in Dubai, Thailand and Malaysia. She integrated Chinese Medicine with our lymphatic system as a holistic approach and was invited to present internationally at Lymphology Congress 2021.
With a keen interest in functional medicine and with exposure to many patients and chronic conditions over the years, Weizhen‘s patients have come to expect detailed diagnosis of their condition, which often results in both immediate symptomatic relief of their conditions but more importantly, a long term treatment plan to correct the underlying imbalances or deficiencies resulting in sustainable wellness.

Vice President: Teo Chun Huat
Chun Huat graduated from the Double Degree programme in Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences from Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2014. He then went on to take his Masters and Doctorate in TCM Pediatrics from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He’s currently working at Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution where he is the Assistant Principal Medical Officer and Head of Pediatric special clinic. He actively seeks to develop NTU TCM graduates in the organisation and collaborates with NTU undergrads for their FYPs. He is also passionate about helping more Singaporeans better understand TCM, believes that prevention is better than cure, and advocates a healthy lifestyle through simple adjustments to diet and daily activities.
Secretary: Loh Zheng Jia
Zheng Jia graduated as the 10th batch of the NTU Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Double Degree Programme in 2019. He started his career as a physician in the inaugural Resident Physician Programme in Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, where he had the privilege to treat patients in both the clinic and inpatient wards for a wide variety of infirmities such as stroke, dementia, diabetes. He has also given a number of TCM educational talks to both the public and fellow physicians. He has a deep interest in acupuncture and pain management. In his free time, he volunteers at SGCares to care for the migrant worker community in Singapore.
Zheng Jia believes that TCM can play a strong and effective complementary role to western medicine, and hopes for stronger collaboration to tackle Singapore’s healthcare issues.
Treasurer: Peh Wei Jie
Wei Jie graduated from the Double Degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine by Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2019. He then started his career in Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, being one of the physicians in the first batch of Resident Physicians. Besides providing TCM treatment in both the outpatient and inpatient settings in the hospital, he also conducted public educational talks and honed facilitating skills in inter-departmental projects.
Wei Jie‘s clinical interests is in pain management and gastrointestinal conditions, and he hopes to further his clinical interests and widen his exposure in facilitating and managing aspects. He advocates for more clinical studies and research in the fields of TCM herbs and acupuncture, and frequently indulges in sports and craft-work in his free time.
Alumni Wing Chief: Liew Kian Boon
Kian Boon graduated in 2016 and started off his career with Play Nation as a management associate. He was involved in the company’s expansion plan into The Philippines and was in the team that spearheads initiatives such as zoom team bonding and opening distribution channels in the FMCG.
He is seeking to explore his passion in coaching and is looking to create a mentorship community where undergraduates and graduates can tap on the collective wisdom of alumni for support.
Outreach Wing Chief: Yen Sheng Xiang
Sheng Xiang graduated with double degree with Honours in B.Sc. in Biomedical Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He is currently the General Manager of Blossom World Society, a youth nonprofit organization.
Despite the hectic schedule of his work at current organizations, Sheng Xiang finds time to volunteer weekly at Chung Hwa Medical Institution as Volunteer Physician. Sheng Xiang is deeply passionate about the promotion of TCM in Singapore. He strongly advocates multiple-prong approach which includes progressive efforts in research, constructive dialogue with western medical counterparts, and public education.

Youth Wing Chief: Kong Teck Chuan
Teck Chuan graduated in 2019 and practices with Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinics. His clinical interest includes skin conditions, preventive care and gastrointestinal related conditions. He had the privilege to be under various tutelage of locally renowned TCM physicians in Eu Yan Sang Premier TCM Centre since 2019.
Teck Chuan was also heavily involved in the project to build the All Things Health website by Eu Yan Sang by helping to create the health and wellness content information. He has also conducted various TCM programs, talks and videos for corporate clients and the public.
While actively promoting TCM for the mass public, Teck Chuan has also translated various TCM research papers with BUCM academics and physicians. Since graduation, Teck Chuan has also been volunteering with Singapore Chinese Medical Union and liaising with NLB to bring the centennial documentation and records of the local TCM development to fruition.
Teck Chuan believes in TCM complementing western medicine practices to provide personalized and preventive healthcare. In his interaction with doctors in One Wellness Medical – Eu Yan Sang Integrative clinic, he champions a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention with TCM and the Western scientific approach.
Publicity and Publication Wing Chief: Koh Hwan Ling
Hwan Ling is a registered TCM Practitioner in Singapore. She graduated with a Double Degree with an Honours in B.Sc. in Biomedical Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She is currently practicing full-time and is the Assistant Manager, CRM, of Bao Zhong Tang TCM Center. Her practice at Bao Zhong Tang also extends to COMO Shambhala Urban Escape Singapore. She also volunteers at Kang Ming Free Clinic and is a member of the Society of Chinese Medical Research.
She is a believer of holistic health management and holding responsibility in one’s own health. She hopes to help more people benefit from the use of TCM and regain control of their health.
During her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking. She is also an avid sportswoman and often spend her off days in the outdoors, trekking, hiking and kayaking.
Executive Member: Lee Mun Kit, Sean
Sean Lee has been actively practising Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 2012, following his graduation from the Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Double Degree Programme in Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Sean started his career as a Chinese Medicine Physician at the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic, where besides clinical work, he is also involved in the academic aspects of the Double Degree Undergraduate Programme, as well as the mentoring of graduates to prepare them for their licensing examinations. In his time there, he also established the TCM traumatology unit that aims to enhance the knowledge and treatment skill sets of clinic physicians for the management of pain and orthopedic conditions.
Later on, Sean progressed to undertake a position at the TCM department of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH) where he continues his clinical work in treating a wide spectrum of conditions in the fields of internal medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, fertility, pain management, stroke recovery and dementia in both the outpatient and inpatient clinical settings. Besides clinical work, Sean was involved in the start up of the inaugural YZF Residency Programme for newly licensed physicians in KWSH and was overseeing the progression of the programme. He was also involved in various internal and external research projects.
Currently, Sean is the founder and main physician of Chime TCM Clinic. He focuses mainly in clinical work and mentoring of budding physicians for the everchanging TCM scene.

Executive Member: Tan Kok Hsien
Kok Hsien graduated in 2013 and started off his career with the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic. His clinical interest is in spinal-related conditions, injuries and pain management, and gastrointestinal related conditions. Other than his personal clinical sessions, he continued to hone his TCM skills and was privileged to be under the tutelage of locally renowned TCM physicians in the clinic.
Kok Hsien was also heavily involved in the management of the clinic and the administration of the Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine double-degree program in NTU. He has also conducted numerous TCM introductory programs and talks to corporate clients and the public.
Seeking to better understand the TCM policies and landscape in Singapore, Kok Hsien is now with the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Branch, Ministry of Health. Since graduation, Kok Hsien has also been volunteering with The Public Free Clinic to bring care to the less-privileged community. He continues to maintain clinical practice on selected time slots.
Kok Hsien believes in the value of TCM and that it has a special role to play in complementing western medicine practices. TCM can also offer valuable insights on health cultivation and illness prevention. He advocates for more clinical studies and research on TCM, and interaction between doctors and TCM physicians to harness the best of practices to achieve greater health.
